Ian M Randall (2005) The English Baptists of the 20th century. Baptist Historical Society, Didcot.
This is the fourth volume in a series on the English Baptists originally planned under the editorship of the late Dr E.A. Payne, subsequently under Dr B.R. White, and now edited by Dr Roger Hayden.
In this book which completes the series on English Baptists from the 17th to the 20th centuries, Dr Randall surveys the life and work of Baptist churches and the Baptist Union of Great Britain decade by decade. A principal source has been the chronicle provided by the weekly newspaper, the Baptist Times. Here the Baptist family can be seen as it has faced the large themes of ministry, mission, social concern and ecumenical involvement through a century of great social, political and technological change.
