A Baptist History Timeline

Many local Baptist churches have produced their own histories. These can be rich sources of story and tradition, and can help you to understand where Baptists have come from, how they have related to others, and who they are today.

If you are researching your family history, you may find it useful to understand how Baptists keep records and what sort of things they record.

Baptists in the UK are not only individual communities, but relate through associations and through the Baptist Union of Great Britain. All of these organisations have their own histories.

There are also resources for understanding this history of the movement a whole.
