Church History

On this page, we are hoping to list as many of these as we can, and perhaps even include extracts or highlights. If you can help us with this, please contact

Including Church histories

One  very interesting example of one of our most historic chapels can be found here   http://www.johnmooremuseum.org/old-baptist-chapel-3/– possibly more elaborate than most churches will manage, it is true. Do check it out; it is interesting in its own right, and it might give some ideas….

Langley Mill (whose website can be found here http://www.langleymillbaptists.org.uk/ ) and then scroll down to “Our History” tell an interesting story.

The Baptist Church in Rochdale have produced this westbook

Lee Mount Baptist church are making available access to some of the historical documents they possess. You can find them here http://johnrhudson.me.uk/Brief_Baptist_History/Lee_Mount.html
